Mental health treatment, family support services and case management integrated services are provided to families so they can continue caring for their child within the home. This program is for children who meet medical necessity criteria for FBHMS, require a higher level of care and are at risk of an out-of-home placement without further intervention.
The goal is to strengthen the family unit by teaching families how to care for their child or adolescent, who is diagnosed with an emotional and/or behavioral problem, and sustain the principles taught, after treatment has ended to reduce the need for out-of-home placement.
